Does the consulate in Casablanca, Morocco perform direct filings for spousal visas? And if so what are the requirments? I read info about the consulate on this website and it say no direct filings are allowed. However, my fiancee say her aunt know of other people who have done "DCF". I dont know how long ago. That was not explained to me. Thanks in advance for your response.

I think I was late filing for AOS:

07/27/07: Mailed AOS papers to Chicago mailbox.

08/02/07: AOS papers received in Chicago.

Many consulates, if they do allow DCF, have a residency requirement that the husband and wife have been living together in that country for a number of months or years.

Other consulates won't do DCF because of too much Visa fraud happening in that country, and prefer that the case go through all the extra security checks that USCIS and NVC perform.
