Hello

My wife is trying to complete I864 for her mom. In reading I864P at the bottom it states "these guidelines remain in effect until 2013". So my questions is are there new poverty guidelines and if so where do I find them? My household size is 4 and my wife made about 29200 last year and I made about 17600. so again my questions are:

1. What are the latest poverty guidlines for a household size of 4?

2. Are we ok to just use my wife's income for I-1864 or should I fill out I-1864A as well?

Thanks in advance for you help.

The new guidelines probably will be out the beginning of march since the old ones say from march 1, 2012. As you have read from there the current guideline for most of the USA for a family of 4 is $28,812.

Make sure you include her mom in the household count. You can use just hers or both if you feel it would help.
