hello,

i just wanted to tell everyone in this prozess that it is possible to get a earlier interview date than the nvc assigned you.

if you ask nicely in a email to your embassy if it is possible to reschedule you to a earlier interview date they will reschedule you if they have something available.

my embassy waited with a response until they received my package from the nvc and they really gave me a earlier date than i had :)

it is only one week earlier but every single day counts right?

i just wanted to tell u to keep trying it is worth a shot, and it might work out :)

hope u all go smooth through this prozess...lizz

This gives me hope! The way things are going at my consulate I won't get an interview until May at the earliest. Let's hope I might get something a bit sooner.

The interview date we were given when we finished packet 4 in early December was in April. We kept checking back and got it rescheduled to early Jan. I hope others are able to have such luck.

Canadians seeking a visa can reschedule their interview online:

The website (Referred to on VJ as the CSC site) is here: http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

I'm not sure if people coming from other countries have this capability.
