• A partial copy of our 2011 joint US tax return.

• A copy of our airline reservations for a vacation to Hawaii that we have planned in Feburary of 2012.

• A copy of our cruise reservations for a vacation to Bahamas that we have planned in December of 2012.

• A copy of our airline reservations for a vacation to Europe that we have planned in August of 2012.

I don't think we have created any accounts together. Only other thing I can think of is health insurance, but I can't find any mail documents except maybe printing from a webpage screenshot. Anyone had less documents and still passed?

You need to show more evidences of co-mingled finances during the 2 years of marriage.

e.g.

House mortgage joint names? Rental documents showing both spouse names?

Credit Bills showing both spouse names

Health Insurance showing joint names

Car Insurance cards (showing joint names)

Pet Adoption / Vet visits bills

Cards / Invitations addressing to both of you

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Yes, the trips help as additional evidence but you need good evidence of inter-mixing fo finances. try to get a bank account, that has good transaction, changed to joint quickly (it can help during the RFE time). Yes, health Insurance webpage screenshot is good. Don't you guys have any joint untility bills?

Even if someone successfully got the ROC with less document, you really may not be able to compare with such cases, as various parameters play a role - like the person who is reviewing the case, the kind of evidence produced,......Hope someone you are looking for responds.

Definatly add more evidence! I must have spent 30 mailing the package- that was how much evidence I had to submit. reservations are like nickles and dimes, as anyone can make a reservation and cancel it later.

You got to get your hands on joint tax returns and joint finances, joint car insurance, joint health....

  • 3 weeks later...

In case anyone care for a follow-up, we didn't add any more evidences. And we receive a notice for biometric appointment.

What usually happen is your application get accepted, you get your biometrics, you go to your appointment, and then they will take months to decide on your case, either send you an RFEs for more evidence or just approve your case...

So, you can still get an RFEs even after you do your biometrics...but hopefully you don't! :)

hope that helps...good luck!

You are more likely to get a RFE, so it may be prudent to start working on some additional evidences, so that you will have something to send in case of a RFE.

Getting your biometrics letter does not mean you will not get an RFE. It will take months before an adjudicator looks at your case file. They will determine if they approve or send you an RFE. Please come back in a few months and let us know if you received an RFE or were approved with such a small amount of evidence.

Like other forumers have advised, you guys should start joining accounts so you don't get caught off guard in the unpleasant case of USCIS sending a RFE. Simple things like Phone bills, cable, joint checking, christmas cards addressed to Mr & Mrs, even gym membership. Youi know, everyday things that most married couple share. Good luck and hope you don't get RFE.
