The problem with that is they will tell you "you are within normal processing times, contact us in 60 days"

again, try your 2 senators and congressman. some people have good relationship and some are just bad. work on schmoozing your way and they will help you.

i had contact the ombudsman before and not sure if they help. i developed a plan call 'alpha strike'

this involves 2 senators, congressman, and ombudsman all working on your case. the basis of this argument is about poor work performance and poor contractor performance working on my case.

i am glad you are exercising your rights and raising concerns for waste in tax dollars.

email is wrong! always call/visit and ask for a name and develop a ongoing communication. i used to send my contact a $5 starbucks card each month for 4 months. as of today, my wife is here and my contacts had facebook me too.

Your Senator or congressman depends on what state (and district, for the congressman) the petitioner is in.

Might as well contact both the Senators and the congressman.

In theory the congressman should be more responsive because they represent your district specifically whereas Senator's represent the whole state, but that doesn't mean it always plays out that way.

Just FYI, they will probably ask you to fill out some privacy release forms and possibly some other paperwork before they actually make the inquiry. Good luck to you too, I hope this works out for you.
