I read all kinds of forums here but i feel nothing changed. Because until now still waiting my NOA2 and i am AUGUST filer. and almost 6 months waiting! And we thought our case will be fast because President Obama was re-elected again but were wrong. Were totally stuck on different service center. And now all operators from USCIS they cant even know or they cant even say whats going on our cases. So totally sucks!!

I would expect things to slow down with an Obama re election.

Not sure why we are bringing Obama into this... but are you talking to a Level 2 Supervisor on the phone? The first person to answer will not be able to give you any info of pertinence. Demand a level 2 supervisor (tell them "i want to now exactly what office my papers are in right now") and they will transfer you. Have you done that already?

Pessimism: Obama will make it more attractive and possible for immigrants to enter the country, therefore the rate of immigration will outpace the ability of Immigration to handle the submissions and processing times will slow.

Optimism: Obama will make it more attractive and possible for immigrants to enter the country, therefore the package of reforms will provide for added resources to process the anticipated uptick in submissions, and after a short training period, processing times will get faster.

Reality: Government is a total #######-up.

Obama reelection had nothing to do with the process it's just the way the system is, some people get it within 6 months and some people get it longer it really all depends on the work load and how your documents are filed. I sent my fiancée k1 petition and it only took 5 months no RFE no delays everything was smooth from the USCIS department now when you get to the embassy level that's another different system and waiting period. Wish you best of luck tho

Never mind CIR.
