AP status updated date

I agree. Mine changed after I spoke to 2 of my congressmen and asked them to inquire about my case, the date changed from November 5, 2012 to March 12, 2013. Its ridiculous.

And the other thing I noticed is whenever they respond to my emails they update it.....

My update had a sense, I know the US Consulate called a friend of mine who's a Police Officer and asked him about me and my wife. And after that the date changed on the ceac website.

you are right, whenever they make inquiry about the applicant they update their website, similarly whenever they respond to the applicant's telephonic or email inquiry they update their website...........i am wondering whats the point of updating if the status remains unchanged!!

My husband's case went 4 months without an update. My congressman's office said they are not always good about updating it but I don't think that is the case. I really think they just look at the cases as they please.

my husband's case has no update since March 12, 2013

but when i called DOS today i asked them about anybody actively working on his case or not? and they said yes. its so confusing

my case updated again today.. saying the same old thing but updated again. this will b the 3rd time updates of this month. so is that a good sign??

no updates since 14th March, seems my file is covered by dust by now!!

i was told during the interview that the embassy will CALL me when the AP is done,

I would like to go to my home country while waiting their response.

Should I ask them to contact me via email when the AP is done since the phone number will be out of Network?

What should I do my dear vjers?

Honestly I do not know what you should do, you can also check the CEAC website to check on your case if you are out of the country. I wish I could give you an answer, but here is the website to check on your case.
