Yes, look at the pic of my fiance sleeping...she has no clothes on underneath the blanket. P0RN! Thanks Uling.

You must change that pic of her sleeping because you are violating her privacy. I'm deeply offended. In fact, I'm going to PM Capt Ewok.... LOL! :P:):D:yes::lol::whistle::thumbs:

Look no further than the previous deleted thread on the subject to see why many American men don't marry American women. That's all I have to say about that.

I, for one, didn't go searching for a Filipina wife...I was just lucky enough to find a beautiful woman that makes me happy and is a caring and thoughtful person.

We're in the same boat. I wasn't looking for a relationship and nor did I ever expect to have one with a foreigner, oppsss alien (LOL). It has been an absolute blessing having her in my life and I would do it all again (if I had too). Kudos to us both... Oh, I'm sure some other wonderful person will find another reason to complain about your pics... just wait... goodness gracious!!!

Yeah. That surprises me too. Kinda bothers me. I didn't think it was that bad. I thought it was a fun read. Boy, I need help!

You know...I have been thinking about what I said on the deleted thread about the American women that I chose to date before I meet my wife. I think it was the lack of balance in their lives that was the real turn-off. There was a total focus on work and their climb up the executive ladder and almost nothing on the family. I guess it means that I just chose women who were poor matches for me. But those are the type of women whom I am surrounded by. It was just by chance that I found and fell in love with a woman while I was on vacation. And a big part of what I fell in love with is the fact that this woman is family oriented.

I know at this point I am rambling, but I am trying to put my finger on why there is a perception preference for foreign spouses. And I am doing a poor job...so I will quit for the moment.

Sorry guys...continue on with your reading...nothing to see here...

There is a "perception of preference for foreign spouses. " on this board....not so much in real life. Most people I know, friends, family ...etc.... found their spouses right here. I think when you're on an immigration board your perceptions may become a bit skewed.

I dislike stereotyping anyhow.

I'm an American woman and my family is my NUMBER ONE priority.

I'm so glad I have a husband who was looking for an equal partner in EVERY arena, on the homefront and the workfront and shares equally in all aspects of our life.

 As they say, to each their own. What you've just described is exactly the

type of woman I was looking for. Career and goal-oriented - the real turn-on.

It all comes down to what you want. Some people like Mawilson want an ambitious career oriented partner while others like me wanted a traditional family oriented spouse. Nothing wrong with either.

I want a career and goal-oriented woman...but balanced with a desire for a family too.
