HIII everyone!! I always look on here to see peoples posts so I decided to finally sign up!! Me and my fiance are trying to finish up all the paper work for the K1 visa and get it sent ASAP like this week. We want it to be as perfect as we can so we dont have to go through complications with filling anything out wrong.

For those who have sent yours already, which is the best place to send it to be filed?? I'm seeing Vermont & California and then a USCIS Dallas Lockbox...not sure which I'm suppose to send to. I'm from Orlando and he is from the UK so I know his embassy is London.

Also....who do we make the check/money order out to?? Any and ALL help is appreciated. we want this so bad and know it takes time & lots of patience :)

He went and applied for a B2 visa a couples months ago so that he could stay with me longer in the states and he was denied. thus we decided the k1 would be the best way to be together and start a real life....should we include a short statement about his denial and add it to the package?

A letter is probably not needed, but it shouldn't hurt either. They will know that he was denied the visa so, just make sure you put down if it is asked that yes, he was denied a visa before.

Welcome to the forum.

There is no need for a short statement now about a previous visa denial. That information will be asked for later on at the consulate interview phase, specifically Form DS-156, question 31.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
