^ I think thats the old style.. Now they are more strict about it.. i even called the philipine embassy and the uscis and they told me i had to do everyting in the philipines.. I had to wait 10 days nomatter what for the marriage license and.. and i had to have my dcree and my affidavite of no marriage..

But i had a hook up and we knew a judge in victoras city that married us... The problem with me was.. the stupid embassy was in manila and i was nowhere near manila.. i was in another island in the philipines.. and i had no choice but to go to manila or cebu to get the affidavite.

Yeh, I remember now after we got married my wife said something about a new law about having to wait their in country longer. She said she decided if we couldnt get married, then it was God's will, and if we could get married, then it was God's will. She told me nothing about that prior to us getting married. But I just now remembered about that. It seems to me that the clerk at City Hall said something to my wife to the effect of "since he cant be here that long, we will wave that requirement", or something like that. I know God got involved in all of it... He wanted this beautiful, sweet son of ours to come into this world. smile.gif

Why would that matter?

Because of the government holidays which will add to the time to get the license.
