Congratulations and thank you for taking the time to write down the interview process. I think it really helps all of us who are still waiting for that blessed day!

All the best,

Hello guys! I had my interview a few hours ago and I came here to share my experience.

It was at the U.S Embassy in Athens Greece and honestly, I thought it'd be much more stressful and harder.

I'm copy pasting the review I submitted.

I arrived there at 8:25am for an 8:30 appointment. I saw around 30 people waiting before me and I knew it'd be a long wait. After the security check where I had to give them my phone and a USB I had with me, I went to another room and a woman gave me a number and told me to wait until someone called me. I waited for about an hour before I saw my number flashing. I entered a small room with a chair and across me (glass between) there was a woman sitting. She spoke to me in Greek (no American accent), so I figured she was Greek. I gave her my passport, 2 photos, the DS-forms, birth certificate and visa payment receipt. ( I have already submitted the I-134 with my initial petition).

I waited a bit and when she came back, she gave me the X-ray results and told me to keep it and have it at POE with me.

She only asked 3-4 questions and she was writing them down:

-How many times have you been to the US?

-On what Visa?

-How did you meet your fiancé?

-Will this be your first marriage?

I asked her if she wanted to see evidence of ongoing relationship, and she said no.

Then she told me to wait outside until my number is called again so I can go for fingerprints and then talk with the consular officer so he can decide.

I also gave her my phone number so they'd call me and tell me to come and pick up my Visa.

I waited for about another hour, then simply went for fingerprints and about 20min later, my number flashed again and I entered the same room.

This time, a U.S officer was there and the woman that interviewed me before, was standing besides him.

We agreed to speak in English and he proceeded to ask me pretty much the same questions:

-How did you meet?

-Where is he working?

-Where does he live?

-Do you plan to live there (area) when you move?

And that was it. He was very friendly and the whole thing didn't take more than 3minutes. Once again, no recent evidence of ongoing relationship was asked from me. While he was interviewing me, he was looking at the photos we had submitted with our I-129F petition.

I was kinda bummed out that he didn't wanna see my evidence, because I had arranged them in a nice folder, with chronological order, starting with boarding passes, photos with captions, phone call screenshots, messages, cards/letter, facebook evidence and such. Anyways.

He said that we were done and I should expect a call from them later this week, to come pick up my passport and visa. So I asked him: '' Are we going to find out if we're approved by the end of the week?'' and he replied: ''No, you're already approved''.

I smiled and told him to have a great day.
