Hello everyone, My wife took Police clearance certificate. They gave the certificate clearance cleanly, no remarks. But in the certificate, they only mentioned the residing date from last year August (which is past six months time duration). She provided Residence certificate for more than a year, but still they gave like this. When we called someone in the office, they told that they just gave for last six months and that is normal. My worry is that they wrote on the certificate as if she is residing there from last August (2012). Is PCC giving for last six months a common procedure? would they only give for six months? Not clear on why they will not just write there are no issue from the time of residence (which was alsmost two years). If you know any more information on this or have similar experience, please post here. I thank you very much for your help and information on this. Even if we go to the PCC office again and ask for one more PCC, they are unlikely give one more with one year clearance. I am not sure whether NVC or COnsulate Officer would see this as an issue.

Again, Thank you for your help here.
