I checked our online status a few days ago and found the message below on the system. I already got my Welcome (to America) Notice in the post and about a week later I got the Green Card. Maybe I’m missing something but after the Welcome Notice and the Green Card I thought that was it  ? I haven’t yet received this Approval Notice.

I got the same email the day after I got my green card ... I think it is their system is a little behind ... Also my greencard came from Kentucky and not CSC so maybe that causes these email slip ups ...

I received the welcome letter and the I-131 approval notice a few weeks ago, that was followed by the card. I also got an e-mail saying that the I-485 approval notice was mailed. I think it's the final piece of paper in this part of the AOS process.
