Hi Everyone,my PD (June 22nd 2012) will it take more than 9-10 months to get my NOA2? our 1st year wedding anniversary coming march 18th so my husband is coming to see me but he will stay only 3 weeks with me, when he return to USA i will feel very sad, i can't explain my feeling even when think about it now :( , can you give me hopes plzzzzzzzz.

It is hard to predict anyone's approval date as the process is so haphazardly done.

CR-1 (for Husband):
09/15/2012: Got Married
09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

N-400: (3 months and 12 days)
Filed N-400 : 2011-06-17
Interview: 2011-09-27
Oath Ceremony: 2011-09-30

IR-5 for Mom Entire process took 5 months exactly
USCIS (22days)
mailed I-130 : 2011-09-30
NOA 1: 2011-10-03 (text & email)
NOA 2: 2011-10-25 (text and email)
NVC: (19 days)
Case entered and # assigned: 2011-11-18
NVC Case COMPLETED: 2011-12-07 ( 43 days from NOA 2 and 65 days from NOA 1)
Interview Date(Lagos): 2012-01- 23 Mom was late for interview
New Interview date: 2012-02-29 : VISA APPROVED

Get help. Seriously. As an anxiety sufferer myself, I know how hard it is. Stay busy and keep your mind off of it. Get out of the house. Do SOMETHING.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

I am trying to keep me busy, but when i think i am away from my husband getting worse.Its going to be 8 months on 22nd this month.

I know, sweetie. I'[m sorry it's been so long. I would be going nuts too. Please try to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Delay is not the same as denial.

did you try calling them regarding the delay?

yes we did every month on applied date but they are not responding,just keep on saying you have to wait some more, but not saying how long.

I think vermont just started working on the beginning of june.

If you follow the way the trend looks, you'd be looking at anothing 2 or 3 months.

But who knows, it could pick up =\

Possibly. If VSC doesn't slow down. Though you could be approved soon, chances are that they won't approve you until about another 2.5 months goes by, and even then, you're only probably going to be approved then. There are no guarantees. Plus, if VSC continues to slow down (pray they don't) then you could be waiting longer. Though, you probably won't be able to submit any service requests until they get to your priority date online. That will most likely be sometime in the beginning of May.

Passport Timeline (Submitted at USPS, Standard Processing, Standard Delivery, Locator number: 51) & SSA Update & Naturalization Certificate Receipt

 

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.
