How long did your K-1 take? ( A.K.A from submission of the K-1 to approval )

7 months and 7 days to visa approval

85 days for our NOA2 but total of 179 days to visa approval(also we've moved our interview date for 3 more weeks)

Probably would be a neat idea to become familiar with VJ search tools.

Go to immigration timelines, click "K1 visa timelines" and then sort through what kind of info you'd like shown.

You can sort out which countries you'd like shown, or which service center. ANyways, take a peak at the " Days from Initial

Filing to Interview" tab and you'll see how long it took. There are several pages to browse through - most of these VJ members might not see your topic so it's a neat tool.

As mentioned in my signature, 241 days from mailing I129F until visa in hand.

why was so fast to get NOA2, are you with the army or something like that?

exactly 7 months...I was even refused after the interview, and was given 221g....2 wks after my interview, I sent the docs needed, then presto...had the visa issued exactly on the 7th month since filing of K1

188 days from NOA1 to visa approval. We were lucky with our timing with the CSC

no but srsly it's looking like 10 months from noa1 to interview if we get approved soon.
