I am a permanent resident and my fiance has a B1/B2 visa. She got the visa about a year back but never used it. At that time we did not know each other and she wanted to come here to visit some campuses. Now we are getting married shortly and I want her to come here and stay with me for some time. She does not intend to over stay. I will not be petitioning for her while she is here in US. In fact we intend to move to a different country in about a year. Now the question is how to convince the officials at port of entry that she does not intend to over stay. I know lying is a bad idea and I do not want to do that. She can get a job letter from her employer and some bank statements from her home country. She will have a return ticket.

I know this question has been asked many times. I think the best answer is to not volunteer for extra information and at the same time not to lie. What I am looking for is some experiences in this type of situation. I am sure many people have been in this situation. I will appreciate sharing the experiences here.

Thanks.
