Yes, I'd hate some stranger hugging me. Most people smell IMO, I'd hate them to be near me. :P

Plus it is RUDE.

Hugs between family members and friends is great, can't get enough of them...but a stranger? Sod off! :lol:

P.S. I don't think I'd physically punch them though....push them away, say a few harsh words maybe.

Did you see the Borat movie? I think he really played up on that - one guy literally ran away from him...followed by Borat chasing him down. :P

I actually saw the first "free hugs" video recently. No accosting....just standing there with a sign, and if you wanted one, you came up and got one.

A pretty nice concept, I thought.

Though I'd probably still check my wallet after.

I think sometimes it depends on how you were brought up. My family is not very touchy feely, we never hugged when I was younger but now we do. My brother won't though. I don't like the thought of hugging a stranger and I can't even think of why that would happen.
