Not exactly.

I was tired of messing with it and forked out $30 for an unlimited plan.

There was still that whole rant of them making me change my plan, which I still need to write my letter for.

But, that was an overall rant of the situation and a manager telling me I didn't have a valid complaint.

In the end, I still had unlimited bandwidth.

And my speed has been INSANE for no good reason

We have a 45mb max plan and we get 120-135mb

My intentions of this thread was to create a thread on VJ where everyone is actually nice to everyone else. Or at least not "Not nice". If that happens, this would actually be the most distinctive thread here.

That's the goal. So please help me out here. Please let others speak their minds without any negative feed backs.

Please everyone, if you haven't done so, read post # 1 of this thread.

Lets keep to our rants, and without negative opinions/ judgements on those rants. Lets have a nice light hearted conversation.

again. I sincerely thank you.

wah wah wah moving on.

Grow the hell up.

Edit: Sorry, SteveAndTiff, but I did speak my mind as did TBone. It is a genuine peeve of mine when people act like that. And I won't be judged for my opinion on such actions, especially not by people whose response is "wah wah wah".

I hope they didn't sneak in any charges for the higher speed.....

I'm sorry Ryan. Not to defend KDH or anyone.......so far, everyone has been keeping to the simple rules of this thread. If you didn't like what one poster said, please don't make a post about it, please consider it as a favor to me and just simply ignore it. Everyone has been doing that with great restraint.

We'd love to have you join us in this conversation about everything under the sun.

Won't see the bill for a while, but I highly doubt it.

It clearly shows me on the correct plan, and that plan actually costs less than my original plan.

I made out in the end, they made less money in the end.

I'm happy overall, but I'm upset about how it was all handled, and the fact that they have mislabeled this unlimited thing as an additive to my existing plan when it isn't an additive at all.

I've never been to City Island, I'll admit it, but it seems a little touristy?

He does have big hands, we had to special order his wedding/engagement ring.

That's right, I made him wear an engagement ring. :innocent:

My husband has started pre-bitching about America: our houses are not built of ugly brick, etc.

I'm not sure whether I should feel sympathetic after all the griping I did, or just tell him to man up and shut up.

I really really want a house.

I want a crappy little house for my husband and I to live in.

We can renovate it (with my dad of course!) and then sell it in a few years.

But no one gives houses w/o down payments.

SIGH.

Also, hubby will not wear his wedding ring.

It's in the pocket of my purse.

Not to defend T bone. This has been a great place for VJers to relieve some of their frustrations built up from the other areas of this site (or life in general).

It's difficult to make "tone" out of printed words. You and I perceive posts here in different ways. If you stick around a little longer, I think you'll find that no one here (on this thread) talks down on anyone else. We here, speak to each other like friends would.

I stake my court-jester reputation on it..........

lol, tell him to stop his whining......

City Island is not touristy at all. It's really full of local NY and CTers. Quite a nice place to have dinner. I go there may be once a year. As it is in the opposite corner of NY from me. I live by the Verrazano Bridge........

I love snow but not a dump of 6-8 inches of snow overnight.. My hubby and I got up at 5am to shovel the driveway so that we could get to work.

Hate the slow horrible traffic.

Going to have few more inches of snow till the afternoon. Another round of shoveling to do after getting home at night.

I hope the winter will end soon, I want to start running outside for half-marathon training.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

I'm not seeing it in all honesty, you may be right and it's probably a time thing. Bad manners and attitudes are the single biggest thing that I rant about. From stuff as little as not holding a door open for someone to completely belittling someone. There's enough negative ####### in the world and we don't need any more. Need to add more positives.

Anyway, while I would love to stick around as you suggest, I have to go to that oft-ranted about place: Work.

Though I will end with one bit of good news (a reversal of sorts). That friend of mine hasn't just completely ignored me regarding being an Usher - we're looking at times we can get together to do it now. So that's been sorted out. Now if only the end of the month would come along.

To be honest Canadian internet and phone companies are all scammers who should be lined up and shot... With paintballs. I don't condone killing them! Yeesh people I knew you were all thinkin' that before I added the end. :P I've had mine phone me I dunno how many times about cable. Dude, I don't want TV. Last two times I firmly, but politely stated that I do not want any kind of TV so could they please not call me about it. I mean, I'm hopefully moving in 5 months, if I didn't want it when I moved in last Nov, and I didn't want it when it was $10 a month, why the heck would I want it now? Heck they raised the rent so now I can't afford it!

Rant: having a married couple have to pay twice as much for everything because they live in two separate homes. At least I can fully support myself but we're certainly not saving or getting ahead.

Rant two: found out the ex-best friend has never bothered to send my mother a thank you note or letter. My mom was the officiant at her wedding. Because she cannot legally conduct weddings in this province she found a lady from the same religious society to be there. She had to pay her which she did out of the meager $200 she charged my friend. The fee would have barely covered the cost of the 10 hour drive each way from my mother's home. My mom also handed out drink tickets since the person who said they would do so never showed back up at the reception. This is not the minister's job! At this point I still held out hope but now I'm really done. I made sure she's at the same address so I'll be mailing her the amount I no longer owe her but she seems to think I should pay, again, for the dress, the dress itself, and a strongly worded note so that I don't literally flip out on her in public. The note shall also contain a warning for her sister since she is the one in a relationship with the man who stole money from my ex-best friend on her wedding day. What an awesome dude! He was the best man too.
