Too bad, who told you to not sleep with the boss?

Should have tried to scissor her.

Next time.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Several times I day I find myself saying "I'm not your servant, do it yourself."

Btw for all those interested - Yes I got my Chive shirt. And I bought one for the hubs for when he gets home. Granted it'll be there in 3 days and he won't be for the next 20 but meh! I won't get mine for 2-4 weeks (ah cross border shipping.. how I dislike you...) but hopefully it'll be here by March 17th. :D

new rant:

why the heck does shipping to Canada take 5-10 times longer than to the USA? It's not like I'm that much further away. I bet it's Canada post. grrr.. I am very much looking forward to "free shipping" and "3 days" vs 2-4 weeks and $60 more for shipping. headbonk.gif

If you think reading it is long, you should try living it! :help:

I do wonder if its a long term plan to get me to say yes to anything she wants without knowing what it is. None of the requests she's ever made this way has ever been a big deal, new jeans, new shirts, new shoes, new hand bag, send money to momma, send money to kuya, etc... Actually she doesn't even need to request these things, she has complete access to our money and knows when we have extra or not, she just likes me to be the one throwing out the check card. She won't even use her check card, instead she wants me to give her cash every week and she spends it as she wants or saves for bigger things. Heck often what she buys is a gift for me because I rarely spend money on myself.

You're a good guy Cary

Maybe she'll get used to it one day. I have a hard time spending money on myself and an even harder time asking for it if I need something as well.

I'm not sure she will. She's been here 18 months, and shows no inclination of wanting to use the card. She has on rare occasions, I could probably count them on one hand. And I think she likes that I buy things for her much than if she buys them. Although she likes to take pride in the things she buys by saving up from her weekly cash fund. In any case it seems to work for us. When she needs or wants extra cash, she's gotten fairly good about asking for it. I've given up saying "Just use the card honey". She will or she won't as she chooses, as long as she has it with her in case of a jam, I'm happy.

Around. (Not that way.)

I haven't bought anything for myself in like a year.

Oh no, I bought a $20 pair of rain boots this fall.

When we have more disposable income, then maybe I'll be a little less careful, but I think it is important to be somewhat frugal.
