Try staying home every day. :sleepy:

I'm pissed off because I want to watch this documentary about the decline of Italy, but I don't want to pay $7.50 to rent it for only one view, that is right *a* view. I'm all for supporting filmmakers, but that is ludicrous.

rant: people who make threads with subjects like "help!" or "question about i130"

please be more specific

how about APPROVED WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Or hey, lets ask the same question that has been asked a million times before but we can't see the 5 other threads on the front page!! To be honest, I was thinking about positing in the NVC thread about making sure I could send the IV requirements before the AOS when I was like... Niki... what a stupid question. You know the answer to this. headbonk.gif (to me)

That's when you reply...........

"Go to America, you A-hole" :)

I see there's been lotsa ranting going on while I was gone to the hospital to visit Machine Gun-Mary and her baby.....

I drove a total of 2.5 hrs for a 30 minute visit..........

I'm pissed that I'm paying the tax man for the second year in a row. At least this year its only a bit over a grand. Still I had been hoping to be near even, and fearing it would be worse. Next year withholding should be dialed in pretty good.

Bummer........I know that feeling brother...

I'm a total lazy cookie pig. I need to go on a diet/exercise regime before beach season. :crying:

Ooooooo I've got such a wise crack for this lmao but you'll kill me............<biting tongue>

I think one of the better ones are:

Can you tell me what visa I should apply for, how to do it, and do you think He will make it here by next month?!

The threads I find even more annoying are the "how long" questions. How long will it take to get my NOA2? How long does NVC take? How long does it take to schedule my interview? How long does it take to get my visa? How long does it take to get my green card? The annoyance factor is cranked up by 1000 if these same questions are accompanied by "please help" or "I don't know what to do!"

Patience is a virtue!

I am the petitioner.

Mofle is a character from a terrible "comedy" show (I don't find it funny at all, personally) called "La Pareja Feliz" about a couple who married young and now hates each other's guts. It includes the balding, fat husband who is constantly trying to get with the maid ("el Panzon") and the disgusting, fat wife with missing teeth who constantly wants to get it on ("la Mofle"). I think "mofle" is just a name, but since that show came out it's become a synonym for fat, or gross, women.
This I didn't know, no man; I'll run it by Mrs. T-B. As far as she knows (and her friends from elsewhere in Ecu know even less), "Mofle" means a chubby girl who isn't too bright. Mrs. T-B. says that "gorda" is worse.
2. Gordo/a, or flaco/a (depending on how fat or thin they are)
Mrs. T-B.'s #5 sister is known as "La Flaca" (the skinny girl). And, this is more Mexican than anything, but I, the gringo, would be known as "El Bolillo" (the white bread), see man.
Imagine being at a restaurant and having someone yell at the waiter, "Hey, fatty! Can I get some water?"
This would actually be refreshing in many circumstances, si man.

Children always sleep in odd positions and give you less room than a stretched snake would need! Heck all on my own right now and if she crawls in I'm darn near falling off! Ugh!
Mini-Bone (now 25 mo. old) has been sleeping with us since the beginning, sigh man. We have a queen & a twin pushed together. Somehow, Mini-B. can take up most of that space.

Speaking of which, somehow today, Mini-B. consumed too much sucrose, and, accordingly, was a complete wild man until it wore off. Anyone who has not beheld a 2-year-old on a sugar buzz must behoove him/herself to witness same, uffff man.

That's more like an insult. Being called fat isn't offensive, but being called dirty or smelly is a SUPER INSULT (dun dun duuuun).
On our Thanksgiving road-trip, Mini-B. was becoming restless in his car seat. He was repeating things that we were saying, so the following resulted:

T.-B.: Say besa...

Mini-B.: Bay?

T-B.: Mi...

Mini-B.: Meeeee.

Mrs. T-B.: Don't you dare!

T-B. [intentionally oblivious]: Culo!

Mini-B. [in delight]: Coooooo-yo!

Mrs. T-B. [quite displeased]: I don't want you teaching him those words!

T-B. [proudly]: You said that you wanted him to be bilingual, and this is father-son bonding.

Mrs. T-B. [rather hard, on T-B.'s shoulder]: :bonk:

(Note: "Besa mi culo" approximately means "smooch my hindquarters," si man.)
