I downloaded the app "Find my iPhone" and logged in using my husband's Apple ID and password. I told my husband that the app's map says his phone/wallet was on 4th and Wilshire. He replied, "That's where I am!"

He left Skype and I pinged his phone using the app. He came back online to thank me because he found his phone/wallet and all the cards and cash were intact. Actually, he did not leave it on the bus but in the conference room of his office. He said that he was too sleepy since he left home to recall anything.

To be honest... I never expect my husband to change and nor do I want to change him. He is who he is. I do, however, think he feels I've changed. Personally I think it's just stress... It's hard to be outgoing and fun when you have so much on your plate with all the immigration stuff. Combined with the stress of moving and leaving my daughter here, I'm a Debbie downer lately. I'd not want to be around me either. :crying:

Maybe you could get some sun, Niki. luv.gif I'm sorry that you have to leave your daughter for now. What are your visiting arrangements once you move to CO? Are you gonna at least take your celery-loving kitty?

Here is how nighttime goes around here "Little one, time to brush your teeth!", an hour later, "husband, time to brush your teeth!" B-)

rofl.gif I used to say that every single morning for months. Luckily he learned.

Calypso I think Kdh has the kitty. I have no kitty. Lol. I would like a kitty tho!

We do have visiting arrangements for Colorado. At least month in the summer (Canada kid summers are a month shorter... They're not until end of June), every second Christmas and most other holidays like fall and spring breaks.

Sorry about that! laughing.gif It's actually hikergirl who has a celery-loving cat. There's a Canadian flag under her avatar and she used to post in OT often so I kind of mixed it up. wacko.gif

Oohpartiv - thank you. I plan on talking all the time, skyping and sending things like your mom did. I want to make sure she knows how much I love her.

Nola - We talked about it a lot, and had he not found his dream job he most likely would have moved up here. We wanted the best start we could have for our family. We would be moving either way. Either to BC or somewhere. I am really looking forward to moving to Colorado, but I'm trying to pare down my stuff to what I really need or want. I guess if we have a uhaul it won't matter, but storage there is. How you feel about Denmark is just a bit stronger than how I feel about Alberta. I only moved here in my early 20s because I didn't have any options.

At least that's not half as bad as replying in serious threads only with emoticons good.gifkicking.gifohmy.gif. Too bad neither type of replies violates the TOS.

I have no control over the heat in my home. Tonight I was cold. I bet at 3am I'll be boiling. Every vent in this suite except the one in my daughter's room is closed as tight as I can. I live in a basement suite.
