new yeast and I think this loaf is a dud too. Next loaf will be 60% white to make the damn thing work properly. I wanted 60% wheat/multigrain. :( I've had it work before! :(

Yep failed. Short squat flour smelling loaf. Ffs. Next one will be perfect. Honestly I think the bread machine sucks, or their recipes do. I've never had good luck with this thing. :(

[...] sounds like Ecuador. Food makes you sick (at least at first), the streets are generally dirty, internet blows, foreigners get robbed/raped, people live in shacks, scooters in the countryside which is populated by plantations...
Aside from the Internet blowing, which is endemic there, WHERE exactly do you live, or where haven't I visited?
off to the 4th shower of the day
Ah -- Malaysia sounds like Ecuador (tropical parts). Take four showers per day and you're sweating like a ####### the minute you step out, schpritz man.
Some lady just called my number, and argued with me for ten minutes about how "this is jose chavez's number! who are you? let me speak to jose! give him the phone!"
Sr. Chavez is a macho, and she thinks that you're his mistress, sigh man.
why does the term FYI always sound snotty?
Because anyone who uses it is informing you that you're an idiot, si man. It's a lot more polite, but takes far too much time for some people, to substitute "Don't know if you were aware of this, but..." Edited by TBoneTX

Lol Mr tb, it's my hubs who tends to use it. As in "having Mexican with jessi, fyi" I know he's just letting me know what he's up to, which I like, but all I hear in my head is some condescending chicks voice saying "for your information its actually like this...blah blah blah... So I have to curb the urge to write, fyi, I hate fyi, makes you sound like a condescending jerk face. Just sayin'.

Well I'm back. Sat home all day with I guess travelers diarrhea.

In my dilirium, I wanna thank all of you for the moral support.

I haven't kept up with the last 30 pages of the thread, so forgive me if I missed something said.

I would like to think that Malaysia is a bit more advanced than Ecuador. It's dark now, but I'll snap a pic of my view from my room tomorrow and show you guys. I can see a modern kuala lumpur.

Anyway, I'll be around.....

Some should of told you not to drink the water! I've never gotten travelers diarrhea when out of the country. Its always happened in country. I guess I get a lot more careful of what I'm drinking when I leave the country. Beware of ice si man. You can do all these tricks to make sure the water you drink is purified, then you have a nice cold drink of something with ice, and suddenly you're drinking the unpurified local water. Also be careful that those serving you are using glasses that have dried after washing. Better yet, get your drink in a plastic bag.

Something I've never seen discussed.

What happens if a field office sends an RFE, but you never get the letter.

And the 30 days passes.

WHAT HAPPENS?! WHAAAAAT HAPPENS?!

Also, the fact that all of the baldwins look so much alike creeps me out

But that could also be because he's the fat one.
