against my better judgement, I've just given myself the title of cake baker as well.

If anyone were to click on my profile, the picture shown is of my husband and I "practicing" eating cake the MORNING of the wedding because our cake collapsed under the weight of the frosting.

I then ended up standing in a grocery store at 8am begging them to make me a quick cake for my 11am wedding

This is what I'm making.

I think I can safely handle this.

I mean apples is her theme really, so I tried to google an apple filling but i don't really see anything so I guess that's not really a cake filling.

Uh oh. sister is on the warpath.

The church just told her it was 700 dollars to rent it for their Friday night wedding.

It's THEIR CHURCH.

Not just some random church or anything.

It's a church they attend EVERY sunday.

And that's the member discount.

It was FREE to use the church when I used ours.

(My sister goes to the church her fiance does: not the one we grew up in.)

She's so pissed she's swearing.

That is an insane price though. Our town event space that is right on the beach and is beautiful only charges $100/hour for town residents.

That isn't for the actual church/wedding part, though, right? Just the reception?

We were doing the reception in their parking lot.

But she said they said it would be the SAME price for just the 45minute ceremony!

And I'm sorry, but this church is like run down as hell.

It's old and dingy and there's nothing special about it.

It's like they are trying to charge them because NO ONE does weddings there and they want to make up money.

So, we're talking like 4 hours max for everything and they're charging 700 dollars for their crappyass 80's style church. give me a break.

My body hurts all over. My husband is insisting on doing 2 hours of exercise a day. Owwww. I have 43 days to get in good shape though. I don't think I'll make it.

Non-rant: I just got my almost free night at a pretty good hotel in Stockholm - total cost $9. Wheee!

yah, apple is not really cake filling (or not in my mind, which not might count for much even if i love food). hmmm is lime a bad idea ? ( i am stuck on colors right now) ....oh no, now i want chocolate...bananas....oh god.

I was set on making it to the gym 3x a week plus do my in home stuff 3x a week. The first week....when Sunday rolled around..I slept whole day and I only did 3x gym and 1x in home. lol Next week...I will do better ! /cough
