I hate my BC. It makes me break out like crazy. I'm on the mini-pill. Almost makes me want to go back on the combined pill if I weren't so deathly afraid of blood clots wacko.gif

Rant: I arrived in Texas today. My suitcase smelled funny when I took it up to my hotel room. When I opened it I realized that my bottle of astringent opened and leaked all over everything ranting33va.gif. I've been scrubbing the suitcase to try and get the smell out (its a nauseating alcohol smell) but I still smell it everywhere! Now I have to wash half of all my clothes that got soaked in the stuff headbonk.gif

what are you doing in Texas? You're gonna miss all the rain and sleet and wind and cold............

I don't think I'll go to sleep tonight. That way I can go right to sleep on the plane.

I've something similar happen. I know how much it sucks!

Do you have a history or a family history of blood clots? When I was on BC I used quite a few different ones but my favourite was the ring. Once a month and done. So easy. I wish I could have done an IUD but I couldn't, otherwise that would have been my BC of choice. No worries for 5 years? Heck ya sign me up! Well I did sign up for the permanent version of BC. lol Unless there's some sort of miracle, no more kidlets for me. :D

Good thing hubs never wanted kids. He ended up with a little pre-packaged one that he adores though. smile.gif

rant:

I love how when you answer someone, some people choose to gloss over words. I write "may have administrative processing"... they gloss over the "may" and say "oh well this doesn't happen" DUDE... MAY... DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORD MEANS??!!!?? ranting33va.gif

Let's look it up shall we?

may

1 [mey] Show IPAauxiliary verb, present singular 1st person may, 2nd may or ( Archaic ) may·est or mayst, 3rdmay; present plural may; past might.

1.(used to express possibility): It may rain.

2.(used to express opportunity or permission): You may enter.

3.(used to express contingency, especially in clauses indicating condition, concession, purpose, result, etc.): I may be wrong but I think you would be wise to go. Times may change but human nature stays thesame.

4.(used to express wish or prayer): May you live to an old age.

5.Archaic. (used to express ability or power.)

Oh look at that...

I learned the hard way, sigh man, to encase ANY leakable bottle, tube, or whatever in the zip-lock baggies (gallon-sized are good) that have the actual zipper head on them, si man (not those press-together plastic things, which never work, no man). Not a leak of trouble since, no man.

Nola, that link you posted of the before/after porn stars made me realize why I need to stop being a lazy b!tch and start wearing a little makeup again. I mean, jeez, what a difference. blink.gif

My hubby wears clinique: happy for men, and that scent has got to be my favorite, ever. He used it when we first met, and he while we were dating he bought me a teddy bear that he'd douse with that cologne every time I'd have to leave to go back to the States. wub.gif Loooove it.

RANT: BIL had the balls to come back in for a third bottle of water (at which point I told him to f%($ off) and then hinted that he needed hubby to pay for half of the cable bill this month. This is eerily coincidental, considering my Mom gave us a little money this morning to help pay for hubby's interview medical appointment later this month. dry.gif I am totally suspicious of everyone anymore.

I know, right? I'm seriously going to pick up some more makeup today. I think what happens is that once I get in a relationship...I just start wearing concealer and foundation and nothing else.

My husband's parents got him Dior Homme for Christmas, it has a nice smell to it.

It sounds like you are going to be happy when you get out of there.

Raging lunatic as in "cries over everything" but I cry easily anyhow. But only around people who I'm really close to.

Anyhow....

I do have more drive than I did on BC. I think it's helped by being with someone who you're actually attracted to as well. Feel like a teenager when we visit. :)

I'm just a complete raging biotch for a few days, but I just tell people to stay away because I am PMS-ing. My husband charts with me so he knows when it is coming. He's got babies on the mind though and we can finally get back to trying this month. Poor me.

I'm up........

Slept an hr or so. Had some make up sex (with Tiff).

The only bottle of cologne I packed for my trip is Jean Paul Gaultier. I think this scent has been around since before my birth.

Now that you guys are talking so much about scents, I'm gonna pack the Givenchy Gentleman.....

What's in the drink?

Sorry Nik, I went to bed for a bit.

I posted the drink in Bizarre foods. Bird's nest soup with dried dates.

Tiff eats it and gives it to our daughter as well. It's not bad (Tho not delicious). But Tiff has beautiful skin and she gives the credit to it.

I've heard an array of benefits from Bird's nest soup. western research has found that it has antioxidant properties.

Talk about which, Tiff takes a specific chinese ginseng for women (she calls it female ginseng) western science calls it a type of angelica root.

Dang quai....supposed to be a great healthy herb for women's cycles and reproductive tract.

Tiff takes it once or twice a year (the real root, not extract) and she has very mild regular cycles that do not slow her down.

PMS isn't really that bad for me. Now, when I was pregnant, I was a raging psychopath. Amazingly, The Hubs wants another baby anyway. We were trying through December, but now it's on hold until we're stateside. No BC for me ever again 'cause even though he's lapsed, he's still Catholic.

Steve, glad to hear you and Tiff are on the road to recovery. Now go eat some really bizarre isht. Safe travels.
