My friend Machine gun mary. her father was in the USAF. a family of 3 siblings and 2 parents. moved to the Philippines. Of course he hooks up with a filippina and abadons the family. (Every US serviceman has a GF in the Phils) anyway, of course he knocks up his Pinay, and of course he abandons that family too when he left.

My friend Mary grows up in squalor between VA, and NYC. a family of 4 living in 1 rooms for years. Mary struggles thri the first year of college, then joins the NYPD police Cadet Corps, finishes a degree in Criminal Justice. And is now a cop of 9 years. Also she's my daughter's Godmother.

Her dad is now in debt and living in Queens NY. Her mom owns a co-op in Brooklyn.

(I am packing, otherwise I'd write a more detailed story of what happened with the Filipino family)

Steve, I'm glad you feel better about your argument and decided to go on the trip. Don't come back unless you bring lots of pictures for the bizarre foods thread.

Nola, that link you posted of the before/after porn stars made me realize why I need to stop being a lazy b!tch and start wearing a little makeup again. I mean, jeez, what a difference.

My hubby wears clinique: happy for men, and that scent has got to be my favorite, ever. He used it when we first met, and he while we were dating he bought me a teddy bear that he'd douse with that cologne every time I'd have to leave to go back to the States. Loooove it.

RANT: BIL had the balls to come back in for a third bottle of water (at which point I told him to f%($ off) and then hinted that he needed hubby to pay for half of the cable bill this month. This is eerily coincidental, considering my Mom gave us a little money this morning to help pay for hubby's interview medical appointment later this month. I am totally suspicious of everyone anymore.

I hate when my wife gets all hormonal. If you think you're a raging lunatic then you probably are. My wife knows she gets like that, but can't seem to help it either. She usually says thank you for putting up with it and sorry after that week has passed. You've got to really love someone when they go crazy for a week every month and you stay and love them any way.

Raging lunatic as in "cries over everything" but I cry easily anyhow. But only around people who I'm really close to.

Anyhow....

I do have more drive than I did on BC. I think it's helped by being with someone who you're actually attracted to as well. Feel like a teenager when we visit.

I hate my BC. It makes me break out like crazy. I'm on the mini-pill. Almost makes me want to go back on the combined pill if I weren't so deathly afraid of blood clots

Rant: I arrived in Texas today. My suitcase smelled funny when I took it up to my hotel room. When I opened it I realized that my bottle of astringent opened and leaked all over everything . I've been scrubbing the suitcase to try and get the smell out (its a nauseating alcohol smell) but I still smell it everywhere! Now I have to wash half of all my clothes that got soaked in the stuff
