Well, I know that a Catholic Priest will not marry you on the beach, but if you and your fiance want to get married in the Church, interfaith marriages are allowed. They do require Pre-Cana courses, just like catholic-catholic weddings, because in the Church, marriage is not just a ceremony, but a sacrament and is taken very seriously. You will have kind of like a personality test that each of you will take and from the answers, the test will determine areas, like finance or sexuality where you are not on the same level--or more likely in your situation, religion and faith. Then, together with either a priest or another married couple you will work through these issues and make sure that the marriage is in the best interest of both parties. Basically they work to get all the baggage and tough discussions out on the table before the wedding so that both of you agree before you say "I DO." My mom is of a different faith and married my dad, a Catholic, and I know that when they married, my mom agreed to raise the children Catholic, and this may be asked of you. Feel free to IM me if you have other questions or a good website to ask questions and get answers about the faith is www.catholic.com BEST WISHES!

You cannot have a Catholic ceremony on a beach. Needs to be in a church.

As far as a mixed wedding goes, that's fine. You'll need to take pre-Cana classes (it's basically premarital counselling), and usually that's a four-week session or sometimes a weekend retreat.

thanks for the info's! oh yeah..getting ahead of myself, yes I understand if Catholic Ceremony has to be in the Church. If we get married in non-Catholic/etc ceremony will be on d beach! Ok anyone have any beauty /dress tips? LOL! thanks again!

I have saw quite a few wedding stores online that have a "beach wedding" section, sorry I don't have the URL of any but they should show up on a search. I remember one Hawaii based company had some beautiful simple wedding dresses just perfect for the beach.

How about something like this or this? They're not that expensive. They also aren't specifically wedding dresses. For a beach wedding I don't think you need a formal wedding dress. You can find tons of simple and lovely white dresses online.
