What kind of proof can I provide that I lived in the states my whole life. I'm 27 and have been living in Egypt for past year and soon to have a baby. What are the steps to get my new born daughter her US Citizenship? How long does it take if I have all the necessary documents? Any info is much help. Thanks

School records? Credit card bills sent to the same address over a period of years? Doctor verifications?

You'll file a CRBA with the consulate once the baby is born. Google your consulate with CRBA

Just to be clear though, your child is not entitled to citizenship because you lived there. You (or your spouse) is a US citizen, right?

Regardless, here are two links that that may help. The first one shows how to register the birth of a US citizen who is born out of the country and the second is the guidelines from USCIS on obtaining citizenship through a parent.

All the best with the birth of your baby girl!

A US passport is sufficient proof of US citizenship. Its issue date will show that you were a US citizen at the time of your child's birth. That should be sufficient documentation to get a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, which will be your child's foundational proof of US citizenship.

Schedule an appointment may very who knows what time slot is available? You need to spend some time and research your local embassy requirements.

Although the forms are the same for every US Embassy, the procedures, forms and documents required from each embassy very. It's not a one size fits all process as I can personally say more then my US passport was requested at time of my child's CRBA for my embassy, this can apply for your local embassy as well?

Include the above in bold and any other proof you may have don't relay on only one document. If you have doubt always email your local embassy and ask
