There are alot of hotels in Lagos. They range in price too with many being really expensive. Do you have a price range? I travelled on a budget so I stayed at the Inglesias Hotel in Lagos 13 Marins Street Off Ojuelegba Road Tejuosho, Yaba-Surulere Lagos NIGERIA. Phone numbers are 08154396937 and 08065117598. The rate was 7,000 Naira a night ($45). Not sure what area you are looking to stay but its not in the best area like in VI but the hotel is safe, very clean, IKEA like feel with furniture, and the staff is very helpful and nice. The rooms are small but has everything you need (flat screen AC, TVs, desk, chair, etc.) They always have light or run the generator throughout the night and most of the day. My biggest compliant is there a nice lounge and a club downstairs and I think there is also a club next door. So at times the music could be really loud in the evening. Not every night. Maybe because I was visiting during the holidays because it seemed to be alot of partying going on..lol But overall I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at a hotel in victoria Island called Virgin Rose Resorts on Bishop Oluwole Street. It costs 19,500 naira for a night. Their food is very good, the hotel is well secured and the workers provide good customer service.

Several people have used Charlon suites in the Okoto Isolo area. Rooms are between 8000-17000 naria and the staff was nice. The address is 2 Akiti Close , Okoto , Isolo phone 234 802 392 4832 They even have a web site. They have a little resturant and a swimming pool on the roof.

One trip I stayed at a little place right next to the high school village, it was ok, had generators and every day I got to watch the children in the school yard.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

19, 500 for a single room or what others call a standard room so they are other rates for bigger rooms but i tell u, the single room was extremely cool, u will get a view of the bar beach and light 24/7

Biscourt Hotel in Phase 1, Lekki, Lagos. The service is good. Internet service and generators. On the scale of 1-10 it was 8 where cleanliness is concerned. There is a bar and food is good. Security is great. It has a pool and stores in close vicinity. It cost about $100 to $120 a night. Also, it is close to the US embassy for it is located on the Victoria Island.

I have stayed here many times now and they have given me no reason to seek alternative accommodations. I've probably spent 15 nights there over 3 or so visits.

Free WiFi, very good food and drinks on site, close to the airport. Close to all the amenities that Allen Avenue brings.

N10,000 ($60) per night.

Suite29 Hotel - Ikeja

I can also recommend the Sheraton nearby, but at $375 per night not sure it's fiscally responsible.

hello srloring13 are you still in search of good hotels in Lagos? I would help you with some which are very affordable with strong level of security. Make sure to check  protea hotel lagos, their customer service is still one of the best in Lagos and is very affordable. In case you are not satisfied with that try others like  orchid hotel lekki,  westwood hotel ikoyi, and  presken hotel ikeja....they are all good too.
