Hello VJ members. I received my GC 2day, but unfortunately there's an error on it. When my visa was issued it said CR1, but because my husband and I have being married for more than 2 years when my visa was issued I emailed the Kingston, Jamaica embassy and they told me to take it back to them for the correction to 1R1, which I did and got 1R1 stamped in my passport. Now my Green Card arrive with CR1. I'm planning to call them and return it. How long would it take for it to return back to me? Thx

That's correct. Make a copy of the green card front and back for yourself but send the actual card back with the I-90. One to two months is the normal timeline for receiving the corrected new card. In the meantime, the stamp in your passport is a temporary green card for a year from entry date.
