OMG! I thought I was the only one!! I applied for a expedite on my I129F on Feb 7 got a letter today requesting information on why they needed to expedite my case so as i read the letter and got to the end figuring I did not have a good reason to expedite i read this "Since the date we received your request, we have approved your case and an approval notice was sent to the address we have on file." from what that means is my noa2 is on the way. Since Monday is a holiday i can not call USCIS tier 2 to confirm.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

You have no control over what happens to any other persons's case. No one understands why cases cannot be reviewed based on date filed as seems fair. While we rejoice together we also pray that others experience same joy SOON....our paths in life are so different hence our unique expereiences.

GOD has been WONDERFUL!!!

09/15/2012: Got Married
09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

I say contact you congressmen and women and your senators and who you think will help your cases through just remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease first!

Congratulations!

If you feel sad for people who haven't been approved yet (I also do), try reading and studying as much as you can about the process, and staying on the site to help people who come after you. If you have any skills in writing or data crunching, you might also consider using those on behalf of others (without, of course, acting as their intermediary with the government).

Cheers to you and to all other good-hearted people... the US needs more like you! :D

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI
