Hey everyone!

My 2-year Greencard expires this year on June 29, I'm planning to mail my package for Removal of condition by March 29 (did I do my math right, 90 days before it expires????), but I'm kind of concern about what my status will be from then on. I know my greencard wont be valid after June 29 and that getting my new greencard could take up to a year! Me and my family wanted to meet in Spain around September or Oct this year, but since I wont have a greencard I dont know if this will even be possible. When my greencard expires, what is my status gonna be? can I leave the country? can I apply for a new driving license?. Thank you all in advance.

If you submit your ROC documents, the NOA1 receipt would act as a ONE YEAR extension of your 2 years green card...in that way you can still go out of country just have your 2 year greencard with you and the NOA1 receipt for removal of condition.

Well I was thinking since March 31st was Sunday, maybe I could mail it the 29th (Friday) and they would probably get it by April 1st or 2nd.

Do NOT mail it early. If they receive it early they will reject it. Better to wait a couple of days than try your luck.

Any yes, the NOA1 states 1 year extension.

Use the 90 day calender: Filing Date Calculator There are no issues using the receipt to extend the DL, we (she) did ours (hers) but the expiration date on the DL changed in AZ to match the immigration form. Now wait for about 7-10 months.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I'd send it the day your window opens at the earliest, and 2 weeks before the window closes at the latest.
