The SS number stays the same, but I also need to change my card, because it states "valid for work only with INS authorization", and also because I took my husband's last name.

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out. All these years I've had my SS card (since '98) and not once did I notice that disclaimer on it. Doh! Guess I'll be making a trip to the SS office as well once my GC is approved.

How long usually between Testing and Interview notice for I-485 and the Interview date?

From what I remember on the timelines, about a month once it is scheduled, depending on the office?

Thanks everybody! Like I said, the interview was not fun. We got there on time, we thought we were prepared. The IO was strict and to the point, she sworn us in and started immediately asking for the evidence we had brought which was our tax return, bank statements, checks with both our names, one affidavit, beautiful pictures from our wedding and other occasions. She didn't even look at the pictures or the affidavit, she just asked us if we had life, medical or car insurance together, we don't. She asked if we have a cell phone plan together, we don't. She then started asking us questions, which was the easy part, but when my husband looked at me when answering a question she said "stop looking at your wife like you don't know the answer". So we were pretty rattled! She even asked me where I'd like go pick up my spousal visa if we were denied! She took some pictures and my i-94 and asked the usual "No" questions and then said she'll have to check some things before she approves us so we'll have to wait for the decision and that was it! We were very worried and down for a few hours and then I got an email saying my case went to Card Production! It was a roller coaster of a day.

Do not worry about it. I got my green card first. Right now. my ead is being delivered. This is a wonderful souvenier

Just checked the USCIS website and the AP was approved yesterday. No word yet on the EAD. I didn't think they would continue with approving these additional documents since our interview is in 2 weeks.

I wouldn't be too worried if you have other things to show. Even without all those things they approved us

Do you have any utilities in both names or a lease? Car insurance? Gym membership? Or if your spouse is an authorized user on any accounts, you can go to the website and print off information that shows that.

we have power bills, bank checking and saving account, 401K beneficiary under my name and museum membership. We don't have lease because we are living in my spouse's dad property, but he wrote a statement to state that we have been living under his property since we were married. Hopefully, this is enough.
