have a question is there any chance that we can speed up the process after getting noa2??? so we dont have to wait for embassy to contact us....and wait another 2 months for setting up the appointment in the Embassy....

i heard some ppl were doing that..they were calling NVC for the case number then they were sending pakiet 3 to the embassy without waiting for the letter from the embassy. did someone try this now???????

how long does it take for us to go to the embassy after getting noa2???? 1 or 2 months?

It depends on the embassy. About a week after your NOA2 date, call NVC to get your case number, you can then try e-mailing the embassy with your case number and ask for packet 3 to be sent via-email. Take a look at this embassy info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Poland&cty=Warsaw

oh - i suppose you could try, yes?

keep calling the DoS Hotline, asking for casefile status.

When you hear 'casefile opened at the IV unit' - that might be the useful indicator to send in the P3 stuff directly to them.

You aren't scheduled till the P3 stuff arrives at the IV unit - so learn what their P3 looks like and what stuff they require back from their P3 mailing set.

So, if you get it in earlier, maybe you have a chance of getting on the interview calendar earlier.

Maybe.

I think it's worth a shot - you've nothing to lose on chasing it.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

It is possible to reduce "normal" time in Warszawa by up to 1 month with careful planning.

We -as you can see- were 'customers' of the Warszawa embassy. What we did is as follows:

Once we got NOA2, we used the DHL trick (find it here in VJ),and knew when the petition hit the embassy. Once thre, we called and a friendly employee confirmed it was there. The embassu site has all the forms for packet 3 and 4, as wel as the info for the medical exam, etc. You do not (at least back then, 1 1/2 years ago) have to wait for the embassy letter (again, you might want to re-check this). That saved us 2-3 weeks. Then, the otehr tip is that they scheduled all interviews during the week before month end; so if your papewrwork is complete, by say the 24-25, you would get scheduled for the next month, otherwise, you just lost 1 month. We saved another 3-4 weeks there by using careful planning and having everything ready the minute the petition hit the embassy.

Once the interview is done, you would have your passport within 3-4 days..

Hope this helps
