We were looking up requirements for obtaining a marriage certificate, ie divorce papers, ssn number, identification etc.

Here is an actual quote from the County Clerk's website:

"It is a good idea to bring your birth certificate with you if you have trouble with spelling the names required."

Oh dear......... :lol:

Waiting and watching the calendar flip ever so over closer to 4-2-2009 (When my 2 yr GC expires) . . .

Well they told me to bring birth certificates too.. but so i could spell hubby's name or his parents names.. in case i didn't know.. which is possible.. I did have to put on my mom's maiden name and hubby's maiden name and sometimes they are difficult to spell..
