Salam everyone..it's nice to finally find a thread with afghans on this website.

My husband has his interview in a few days- this AP is making me really nervous. Our case was expedited at the NVC stage, Kabul embassy approved the expedite request & scheduled our interview as soon as they received our documents from NVC.

I'm nervous but at the same time very determined that he will be approved on the spot? We lived together in Kabul for over a year before we applied, we had our daughter who got her citizenship at the US embassy in Kabul (so they've already seen us), he has a great job history, I earn enough in the US, etc etc - I see no reason for them to doubt anything or investigate any further? Plus - it was the US embassy in Kabul who approved the expedite!

Please keep us in your prayers! I'll come back to share the interview expirence and the results!

P.s. The only thing I can think of setting us back is the medical. We got scheduled the interview too soon for us to get a quick date for medical exam especially since there was eid - medical place said they will send it to embassy- so he will not have it with him on the day of the interview.

Salam everyone,

My husband had his interview - NVC did not send them any of our documents since it was an expedite - so now I am waiting for NVC to send me back the original documents I sent them and then I would have to send it to my husband.

The consular just asked my husband to bring those documents when he gets it, asked him my parents names, took his passport and said they will issue the visa when they have the documents!

We are approved but in AP because of the pending documents.
