we were asked to bring documents for f2b retention so this morning we brought copy of naturalization, retention request letter and cenomar but the only thing we didn’t bring is the i-797c cause i think we misplaced it or something but the girl on window25 asked for any letter from nvc so we hand a letter from long time ago and its not i-797c. will this this delay us more? what will happen after we get approval or denied? the girl from window25 said to wait for 30 days if the retention will be approved, i don't want to wait that long just to know we are denied because of lack of documents or something. im a newb please let me know what to do. i dont wanna waste time

we submitted documents this morning at window25 for f2b retention but we didnt bring i-797c cause i think its lost or something, so instead we bring a letter from nvc way back 2008 she asked for it and told us to wait for 30days. will this delay the process? what if the petitioner became u.s citizen first before filing f2b petition cause my mom said that the rules before was different from now, is there a possibility that the retention would be denied? and also, if i request for a copy of i-797c how long will it take and how much? please reply.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
