Looks like he did not respect her "safe zone" or maybe she just lost her scissors as DHS recommends you need to protect yourself if someone is trying to kill you with a gun.

The neighbors don't believe so either, since they had heard them arguing earlier. And this wasn't the first incident.

This is not about defending a gun owner or not. There is no question that he shot her, the thing is if he is found guilty of premeditated murder or not. It's sad because like someone else said, I remember watching his biography and admiring the kid for pursuing his dream. I don't know what went through his head to do such a thing.

I read it, but none of it makes sense. Why would you fire into the bathroom if nobody was coming out? This situation is just a mess.

How would you not know if your partner is or isn't in bed with you? Even in the dark. If I hear a loud noise, the first thing I'd do is wake my husband.

What I find weird (besides everything else) is that she was locked in the bathroom. I think people normally don't lock the bathroom door in their own house or their boyfriend's house when spending the night. Especially if it was just the two of them there.

If what the neighbors say is true, and that there had been quite a loud argument going on, it does not surprise me that she would lock herself in the bathroom.
