Ok, time for a reality check.

What work would your uncle "hire" your 80 years old immobile grandmother to do in his restaurant that he could not find a US person to do to get a work visa?

Even if your grandmother qualifies for a work visa, how do you plan to overcome the GIANT ISSUE of her becoming a public charge?

YOU ARE NOT REALISTIC. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY MIRACLE WHERE AN IMMOBILE 80 YEARS OLD WILL BE ALLOWED TO IMMIGRATE TO THE US. She would contribute nothing to the US economy and would be EXTREMELY likely to cost US taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars at least (if not millions) to provide her with healthcare.

First of all , my chef cook at my uncle restaurant is almost 70 years all , the Japanese I mentioned on previous post doesnt even close to her age ?

First amendment give you that right , and most importantly , if we go that route , he gotta pay her by check , our family will pay him back of course .

Miracle I mentioned above is her leg , if she can walk. Other than her legs , he perfectly healthy . Why cant a 80 years old with a job be treated as a tax contributor ?

And , how accurate "Immobile" are we talking about here ? Just be cause she can't walk in the past years , doesn't mean she won't heal . This is the first post I use the word : immobile

Finally , if you carefully read my other posts , petition through employment will never be my choice unless she could walk .

Then you should revisit other calendars, for your Mom sponsering her, once your Mom arrives in USA with a green card.

We don't trust any other people to take care of my grandma . Because they are the 2 left in the household

There is not an employment route.

And you have said the Investor one will not work, so that is it.

Ok, this is immigration fraud. Why would your family have to pay your grandmother's employer back for her "wages?"

You can not do things the Vietnamese way in the US. The penalties for fraud in the US will be harsh. There is no ho lo that you can pay to get those involved in the fraud out of legal trouble.

It is migration fraud to scam a work visa for your grandmother when your family reimburse the employer.

That route will not work in my case , as long as her condition doesnt get any better . I agree

Her leg is not material to the discussion.

I can ensure you I really appreciate your concern . I know your concern is THE right thing I need to do. You are right , there are certain things in life I have to accept regardless my feeling. I dont expect anybody understand how much the family reunion mean to me . If you can read my past , you might understand my gigantic need to repay her .

This is just my own opinion . Feel free to express your point of view . I dont think my case is a public charge . The wage fro my uncle to my grandma will be taxed , i dont care if we loose money . I just want her to live here with the family . Thats just a ticket . We don take other people tax money . My uncle have always been heavily taxed . I myself have never receive a penny from the federal aids . I have to pay 127$ per unit or school , books not included yet . Even my loans got denied due to my dad salary. Not to include the rent and other expenses . I work at LAX just enough to cover my simple life expenses . And I dont even eat out , not to mention zero support from my dad . All that for the pass 3 Years and I just want a ticket for my granny . I dont think its too much .

Believe it or not , I do understand your feeling toward public charge . Every single one student I met at school always have some type of aids from the government but me . They pay so little for school and still get aids money from the government .

For your first question , we want my uncle pay my granny by check so its more convincing . Ok , you are thinking this is fraud , but have you see my uncle chef cook ? She come in at 5 am to make the broths , ingredients etc . Any no one else is allow to be in the kitchen , she leave at 7 or 8 whenever she complete the job . Thats all the work she have to do for her salary and rent on my uncle 's part . I think the vietnamese way is kind of insulting . Im sorry if I offense you but we dont look for Hoi Lo , we dont take people benefit for personal gain

Anyhow

My grandma probably wont even qualify for any federal health aids . Even my uncle's mother got rejected , and she is US citizen as well. But to be fair , she does carry too many pre existing condition. Anyway , I do understand your point of view , we dont plan to take other people tax money . If my plan works, not only I going to follow the law and requirement but we actually contribute some toward the society . May be my plan would never fit your ears , because there are not so many 23 yrd old post this kind of question to public site .

To be fair and kind to you a 80 years old paralegic woman will NEVER qualify for a work visa. So you should just get this out of your head. Second by the time your mother qualifies to petition for her mother, the grandmother will be 84 years old. Health insurance will be completely out of reach for her, most companies will not even covered her.

A nurse starting salary is from mid 45-60 thousand a year, depending on the specialty. You will have a hard time keeping 2 people covered in health insurance. Your mother will not be able to work, since she will need to be the care giver for he grandmother.

I generally don't respond to these non-sense post, but I am only stating what you are refusing to believe.

I appreciate the input , but it's superficial of you if you call this non sense . You don't know other people background , or plan . Wells Fargo offer international transfer with a extremely pleasing fee . 5000$ a day through linked international bank . Just Google it . Although we are not rich to swing the requirement of EB5 , but with the family saving plus other property , we sure can afford a decent home in California . I will not need worry about the rent . I don't want my mother to work , it's time to payback , as a son . Financially , my mom can take care of her self without my money, the money that I earn to put toward two of them is what matter. I'm taking about a medical insurance , nice meal in restaurant , vacation trip , home-cook meal etc . Of course , I can't afford the house by myself at the moment . But I do pay my mom back after my Nurse anesthetist is completed. If you read other post , I have never receive any aids during school , not a penny . I sometimes borrow my mother some tuition fee during the semester because I only work twice a week . However , I do pay her back during winder and summer when I switch to full time employee. I do pay her back

Anyhow , what this thread is about is the ticket for my granny . About the health plan , I just hoping any one have a per-existing plan for that age , you know , actually tried it. Not just skim reading of the internet . You can't say paraplegic anyway , since it has no relation to the spine whatsoever . Unless I should put more effort on describing my granny condition next time . My apology .

I posted this thread just to hope to save the time since my schedule isn't that wide open .I'm talking about Guaranteed Health Insurance or any other special case. I know regular health plan will not even on check list .

I can tell you don't put that much effort just to read . Even if it take only 1 month between the day my mom landed to US to the day my grandma landed to US , we just could not do it . If you wonder why , please read every detail in this thread .

Sorry if I made you uncomfortable which I sure I did. Please kindly take my apology , but if you know any lead or experience on these kind of special case , please share . I can't thanks you a million time.

There is one very obvious solution to this.

I don't think the OP really wants advice: no matter what people say, the OP is insistent to do this. I guess we can only offer good luck, but more than one miracle will need to happen before the grandma will see the US soil, unfortunately. In addition to good luck, we also must hope that the OP doesn't opt for any "illegal" paths, such as the mentioned marriage fraud. No one really commented on this, but I find it amazing that one would even think of a spousal visa would work for someone of that age. Again, all I can say is, Good luck!
