So, I see "Packet 3" and "Packet 4" in Timelines (during NVC process). What are they? Just to let you know that I have sent DS-230 and AOS packages to NVC and I am awaiting their approval.

Packet 4 is the interview letter you will receive once the interview has been scheduled by NVC, packet 3 applies to K1 applicants

Oh! Thank you! So I am now waiting for my Packet 4!

Will I (Petitioner) get the packet 4 or the beneficiary?

well according to your timeline you have only sent in the AOS package, you still need to wait for the IV bill to be invoiced, paid and sent in once that's approved your case will be complete at NVC and interview will be scheduled, only then you will receive the interview letter. If you gave over your email addresses to the operator at the NVC they usually email them to the email addresses on file.

Oh, sorry I have to update my timeline! I send IV package on Monday and NVC received it on Tuesday. I did give them both my and my wife's email addresses, so I assume I should await emails.

ok in that case, you are awaiting case complete like I am, and then hopefully shortly after they will schedule the interview and send us the interview letter via email

Thanks, you as well :)

usually u will not get a email for having a case closed. ull just wait for your interview appointment in an email.

i called about ten days after they received my last response and they told me that my case was closed. then about a week later i got my appoinment as a email.

they will also tell u they schedule the first two weeks of the months for the next first two weeks of the month for interviews. which is not true. i got my email the 30 of jan for my date. hope everything goes fast for u both :)
