hi there, i am reading forums and articles from uscis..

it's a way of preparing in time that my husband have to submit this AOS..

can my mother in law submit an AOS together with my husband to meet the poverty lines?

but then they are not residing from a same roof now?

my husband moved to US last 2008 but then decided to live independently last 2010..

? MARCH 01, 2012 : NOA1 HARCOPY

? JUNE 13, 2013 : RFE

? JULY 22, 2013 : NOA2 email ?

? AUG 07, 2013 : NVC received our casefile

? OCT 30, 2013 : CASE COMPLETED

? NOV 30, 2013 : P4 email received

? DEC 9-11, 2013 : Medical Exam done @ SLMCEC

? JAN 22, 2014 : INTERVIEW DATE (2hrs for the whole process)

? JAN 25, 2014 : VISA ONHAND

? FEB 13, 2014 : POE

? FEB 25, 2014 : Received SS card

No, they cannot combine income. However, she can be co-sponsor if she makes enough on her own to support her household plus you- ie both your husband and her would fill in a I-864 each.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
