I got my 2 years conditional greencard last October 2012,and that would be expired on October 2014. I am very confused now because my husband will be assigned to Australia for at least 2 years. Do I need to have a visa to stay with him and need to apply for a re entry permit in coming back to US? Thank you in advance for your help.

Is your husband military? Will you be on his orders?

8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Since he is not military yes you will need a visa and a re-entry permit.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
