NOURA: When is Said coming already?>>>>>> Did I miss that post? I pray inchallah sooooooooooooon! (F)

We don't have a def date yet (no ticket purchased) but looking at probably mid-December... soon, inch'allah! (L)

Welcome back I know how you feel when i had to leave my fiance from Egypt i was in tears i was so hurt i didn't know how long it would take for me to see him again. We had no idea at the time that it would be so long , and this hard. I miss him alot. And when i left the airport that day it too was the hardest thing i ever had to do before ever in my life. He just stood there in a distance looking at me. But i know that all this time that we have been apart has really taught us about love, and to never take love for granted. We will be together insh'allah i know that because we were meant to be together. I would wait forever for him and he would for me. But i feel your pain its HARD i have not seen my love in 10 months. So be strong and i wish you both a safe and enjoying reunion soon. What you wrote was beautiful. I will pray for you and your husband to be reunited soon. Insh'allah.

Awwwwwww Henia what you wrote was so sad and yet so beautiful.... :crying:

I think a lot of us know exactly how you're feeling :(

But I am so happy for you that you will be back together again next month. (L) You are very lucky, really, to be able to return so quickly. Insha'allah the time apart will go very fast, and soon insha'allah you won't have to ever leave each other again.

Yo Henia wassup?

haha I'm so glad you're back and posting even though I know you would rather not be! I hope your trip was safe and that you and your hubster can be together soon enough. Kissies,

Sarah

Tanks Sarah... love the new avatar but whoooo is that? LOL

It's Bubb Rubb!

Who is the snaps is Bubb Rubb? Sorry I am square...not hip to the culture I guess! LOL

That reminded me of:

"I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days. The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days. And the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days. And the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day, and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in the evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half. I have it written down, but I can show it to you tomorrow if you want to see it. "

:blink::wacko::huh:

welcome back Henia - my thoughts go out to you - I hope you are reunited w/ your love again soon. We missed you if that's any remote consolation! ;)

Ye I did not get that either, so just choose to ignore it...must be some inside thing...but I miss you all too...

WE ARE SHOOTING FOR A LATE DECEMBER REUNION...just in time to see my good friend while she is in DZ too and also just in time to spent the big Eid there...Keep your fingers crossed everyone...

NOURA: When is Said coming already?>>>>>> Did I miss that post? I pray inchallah sooooooooooooon! (F)

Sorry to confuse everyone!

It's a quote from The Jerk with Steve Martin. He's totally in love and he's explaining how he's felt during the first month of his relationship. If you haven't seen the movie, you should!

Welcome back, Henia. It takes me about two months to get used to being without my husband without missing him as much as right when I come back. You'll be back even before two months are over, so, enjoy American toilets while you can :lol: !

I'm not trying to minimize your pain - i understand it all too well! But there's some things you must have missed from home - for me it was taking a real shower instead of 'Moroccan shower' with a bucket of water and some other things.

Look at it this way, your daughter missed you too and she needs you too! I don't even know if i'll even go again and it's been 6 months already. I'm going crazy over here and don't know when i'll see him again.

And yes, as somebody else said, you're lucky (even thought you might not feel that way now) - you're going back soon! But I understand every word you wrote, and I know it's very hard for you right now.

(((hugs)))

Met online - May 2004

Met in person - August 2004

Got married - May 2005

Filed I-130 - July 2005

Filed I-129 - August 2005

Interview - February 2006 - 221(g) - still under investigation.

Another useless interview - July 2006 - got nowhere!

August 23, 2007 - he's finally here!

Glad you had a safe trip back. Gosh, I remember those moments at the airport and then the few days back home. I totally understand what you're going through. Hopefully the time apart will be short. (F)

Well to honest, I cannot really do this, but we are doing anything and everything just to get to this point... I am giving up alot, but it seems to me like a small sacrifice to make for the greater good. We keep thinking at God, doing our prayers and just thinking no matter what we have to keep our family together.

Thanks everyone for your warm wishes.

I was trying to think on those little things I didnt like about ALgerie like the showwer and such but still with all that I had to deal with I would not have chnaged even one thing.... I was thinking to return by Jan...but my husband seems to want to aim for a mid-Dec return...Whoo whooo...maybe we will make it..maybe not! He wants us to be there for the big Eid... I didnt even think on this, but seems he is...LOL! Telling me he is not going to be without his family (again) on a Eid... Ye dont I know this feeling!
