Hello fellow VJers!

My name is Elizabeth and I am in the process of getting the i-130 sent for my husband, Ahmed. We got married on Christmas in Cairo :)

My best friend of 5 years and her husband introduced us in September and as they say, the rest is history!

We know we have a long journey ahead of us but are keeping our hopes up.

I am so happy I found this website, I thought I was going to go crazy trying to figure out the process on my own.

Look forward to getting to know some of you.

Welcome to vj. I read all your posts. I am glad you are feeling better. I am sorry about your parents home. Is your best friends husband the sponsor for your husband since they are cousins

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!
