2 year marriage mark

Not sure which place this is supposed to be in but I'll post it here and let them move it about lol. I am the USC filing (I-130) for my husband who lives in Canada. My question is I know a marriage under two years the will give him a temp visa or permanent residence card thing like a conditional one that he will have to renew but if we were married two years he just gets his ten year...So the big question is with the wait the way its going if it goes past our two year anniversary will they give him the ten year? Should I point that out once we get towards the end? Our wedding anniversary is in July.

As long as he enters the USA AFTER the 2 year anniversary, he will get the ten year card. If the anniversary happens after the interview but before he immigrates, he should point this out to the officer at the border so they make a note of it and send the correct card.

if you were married over 2 years and then filed 1-130 cr-1 you will receive 10 year green card less then two years then you get a two year card you need to remove conditions in two years,90 days before the 2 year card expires,

Thanks Penguin ^.^ And jkelly yeah I know but with the wait we are in right now it might go past the two year mark which we werent expecting it to I just didnt know how ot handle it when we are in the middle of the process

the calendar is evaluated twice:

1. once on interview day by the IV unit .

2. once at the POE if you remind the CBP officer to change the designation from CR-1 to IR-1.
