I just sent mine in :) The past few weeks have been stress-filled getting everything together but right now it feels really good to finally send it in!

We were going to send it in next week as we were waiting for a couple more sworn affidavits from friends but we decided it was better to send it in earlier rather than wait on evidence that probably doesnt carry too much weight anyways (GC expires March 28). I ended up sending only one affidavit from a friend

Here is what we sent in:

• I-751

• Copy of her green card.

• Copy of her passport.

• Copy of our joint tax returns for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

• Copy of 8 bank statements from our joint debit account.

• Sworn affidavits from US Citizen friend and neighbor verifying our marriage and relationship.

• Sworn statement from my father verifying that we reside with him.

• Proof of address for me (mails addressed to me and driver

s license)

• Proof of address for her (mails addressed to her)

• Letter from General Dynamics confirming that she is covered as spouse in health plan.

• Letter from General Dynamics confirming her as primary beneficiary.

• Copy of our daughter’s birth certificate.

• Copy of our cell phone bills showing family plan.

• Various pictures of our life together (family gatherings, trips, etc)

Thanks, Yurika and Jim but I am not sure. In his posting he said VSC but in their profile info to the left side of each posting they listed their service center as CSC.

If hindustani24 reads this could you please post the correct information. Is your service center CSC or VSC. Please update your profile to VSC if that is the correct service center.

No problem with check. Anywhere between 7 - 30 days for the NOA.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Sorry guys i have a question again it has been 2 days and USCIS still did not cash my check how long it takes them to cash the check as far as i heard they do it right away so whats wrong?
