I got my card today! I got approved 07-15-2013 and the expiry is 07-15-2023, thus 10 years. Is this right?

I thought they will use the original date of the conditional permanent card which is for me is 08-16-2011, I was expecting an expiry of 08-16-2021.

Hey everyone! I just checked my status at USCIS and it was showing there that UPSP picked up a mail from USCIS containing my card and it should arrive tomorrow 7/20/2013. I just want to give an update!

Thanks everyone for this journey and everyone should be getting approved very soon.. =) Next step.... Citizenship!!!

I got my card today! I got approved 07-15-2013 and the expiry is 07-15-2023, thus 10 years. Is this right?

I thought they will use the original date of the conditional permanent card which is for me is 08-16-2011, I was expecting an expiry of 08-16-2021.

You have been a resident since your first green card was approved, but this new card is valid for 10 years starting from its approval date.

Looks like July is our month. Audy was approved 07/16/2013 (Date of Decision) with notice received today, 07/19/2013. Nothing about Green Card being picked-up. Adding our approval Date

Approval letter came - approval date of 07/16/13, mailed 07/17/13. Looks like the CSC managed to approve ANDY_ROB and us in a single day - they must have been working very hard! And we know from experience that the card coming "within 60 days" usually means "within a week or so." rolleyes.gif

To put this date in context, 7/15/10 was our Kuhingira, the traditional Ugandan cultural ceremony where UG's family gave her to HI's family, and 7/17/10 was our church wedding in Uganda (our civil wedding in the US wasn't until 11/21/10 or thereabouts) - so they actually mailed this while we were at a nice oceanfront resort with our 18-month-old, celebrating our third anniversary. A nice anniversary present from the government!

Updated the table, including the CSC approval count and percentage. Looking forward to the N-400 next year! smile.png
