We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

Hey, im new here. So here is my journey dates :) i-751 was sent on 03/04 , CSC got it on 03/06 , check was cashed on 03/08 , NOA1 dated 03/06 but got it on 03/08 , biometrics was scheduled on 04/08 but walked in today 03/29 and get it done. Thank you and Good Luck to everyone !!! :)

So we received our files today :( they sent it back to us cuz we filed 2days early before 90days. The files are already organized with stamp. Wonder if we need to file a new form I751? Or just resubmit it?

Hi all, wanted to jump in and say "hi" - My wife and I filed our I-751 today. USPS says it should be arriving Mon or Tues. This is what we included: (Please excuse all the EDITED's)

• Completed I-751 JOINT Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

• Money order for $590 to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

• Photocopy of both sides of EDITED Permanent Resident Card.

Enclosed please also find the following documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

• Photocopies of driver licenses of EDITED, showing a shared address

• Deed showing co-ownership of our home

• Bank statements from July 2011 – Feb 2013 showing joint account EDITED co-mingling of finances and joint financial obligations and responsibility over the course of the marriage.

• 2010 AND 2011 Full tax return transcripts from IRS

• Copy of 2010 tax return showing EDITED and EDITED married filing jointly

• Copy of 2011 tax return showing EDITED and EDITED married filing jointly

Got my bio letter today for 04/19. I might have to reschudule it. Do I need to take an infopass appointment for an early bio?

No, you dont need to take an Infopass appointment. Just go there at 8 and tell them that you cant make it on your schedule day and they should let you do it earlier. Just try be there at 8, when they are just open. Good Luck :)

Hello everyone! We haven't posted on here in a long time. I sent off the I-975 on 3/26/2013 and they received it on 3/28/2013. We're hoping for the NOA next week after the holiday weekend. Given the time they received it, it is about 84 days before my wife's green card expires. I'll update my timeline signature soon.

Hello everyone,

I am needing some advice on whether our ROC packet looks good as far as the amount of evidence. My husband is the US citizen and I am from Venezuela. We had no problems with our initial adjustment of status for me. We do not own a house together and we rent an apartment that is owned by my parents so we feel like including a made up lease signed by my parents will seem stupid or fishy. However, we have taken a lot of trips and do have a car together. Here is a list of evidence. Everything I am listing has both our names on it either together at the top of the document or one of us as a beneficiary.

Car registration

Bank account statement

Car Loan with our bank

My husbands work retirement account (me as beneficiary)

A second retirement account from another state (me as beneficiary)

Car insurance

Travel insurance for a Europe trip

Claim on the travel insurance over lost baggage

Copy of a police report for a car accident in which we were both in the car

Geico claim for the car accident

College application in which I used my marriage to him as a way to get in-state tuition

Color copies of many envelopes and cards addressed to both of us (thank you notes, wedding invites, etc)

Letter from two friends that have known us since we started dating

Letter from my friend and former boss that has known me for many years (he is also a pastor)

Joint tax returns for the last two years

Copies of Flights we took together which include:

- 3 christmas trips to Boston (andy's family)

- trip to my birth place of Venezuela

- To and from Berlin, Germany

- flights we took within Europe where we visited 4 countries

- Train tickets within paris

- recent spring break trip to Puerto Rico (also has names of two friends that went with us)

- A hotel reservation from one trip to St augustine.

As far as photos we have:

- at least one picture from each of the above mentioned trips

- Us and Andy's family in Iowa

- Us and both our parents together during a cape cod trip in Massachusetts

- Many casual parties with our friends (including the people writing the affidavits)

- Many camping trips and smaller weekend getaways

This is about it. I feel like it seems like plenty, but I also worry that even though we have a lot of documents, that they are not as official as a mortgage. I was also wondering about having printouts of Facebook profiles where many people have commented on photos of the two of us. I don't know if this is done or not.

Anyways, any advice that anyone has would be so helpful as we are doing this on our own and I don't want to mess it up. Thank you all!!

You can have your parents write an affidavit attesting to the fact that you rent an apartment owned by them and have no official rental agreement. Have them list how much you pay them a month. That way you don't send an agreement written up for immigration purposes only that you think may seem fishy.

You can also send copies of both your licenses that show the same address on them.

You mention a bank statement. Make sure your joint bank statements span the whole 2 years of your marriage. That goes for all evidence actually, but they seem particularly focused on co-mingling of finances.

I think your list seems pretty solid.
