I am new to this site but I have been reading the comments on a daily basis for a few months. I have to thank ALL VJers for unknowingly supporting me emotionally. There were times when I felt like I did not want the day to end because that tells me that another day has gone by without a word from USCIS. I was very frustrated and sometimes thought I was depressed. My sweet husband has been a tower of strength for me also and on many occasions prayed with me and encouraged me to try to take it one day at a time, not that he wasn't feeling the same. That however, did not do much to allay my misery.

I had to remind myself that regardless of where we are, we are in this marriage together and if I allow myself to be miserable everyday because of this process I am denying us of 'making every moment count'.Yes we want to move on with our lives in one place but this process is very much a part of our marriage. So, we decided to let it work for us in a positive way. We brainstorm together, research together, empower ourselves, mount our challenges and laugh at our mistakes together.

This is a process that will drive you crazy if you let it. We are all blessed , we have a variety of media with which we can communicate with the love of our lives. As one person wrote, if your love can withstand this journey, then it can withstand anything. Be encouraged fellow VJers and continue to pray because with Christ in the vessel we will smile at the storm. For those of us who are married, going to America is not the beginning of our marriage but the continuation of our lives with our husbands/wives. Let us Make everday as rich as we can with the resources that we have at our disposal and continue with that richness when we get to America. God bless and keep us all!

I agree. I was never a patient woman before , but because our love that is strong and can stand any trials, any disaster I was able to do it.. going on 11 months of waiting.. I am not saying I am proud because my papers have been waiting for too long , I just want to be an example to all people waiting, and those who are about to give up please please dont do it. We all share in this together and we will get the approval soon.. REMEMBER: THE BIBLE SAYS, GOD GIVES THE DESIRES OF OUR HEARTS, HE LOVES OUR FAMILY AND WE WILL BE REUNITED SOON! hugs to all! :star:

"This is a process that will drive you crazy if you let it" Your so right about that. In addition, its draining but I am letting go and letting God. God is in control. I realize no matter how fast I see others get approved and want mine to be approved just as fast, God does not like to be rushed and will do it when He feels its time. God bless us.

REMEMBER: THE BIBLE SAYS, GOD GIVES THE DESIRES OF OUR HEARTS

Assuming you delight yourself in Him.

Ps 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

That's only logical though, since if you delight yourself in the Lord, what He desires and what you desire will be the same things. What did Jesus teach his disciples to pray? "Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven."
