I seem to be unable to find any trace of an A# (I thought I had one because I've heard other K-1 Visa holders say they have one), and I'm wondering if the 11-digit Departure Number on my I-94 is my I-94# (I thought it was only 9 digits???)

I need these for my I-485, so if someone could enlighten me soon, I'd appreciate it. I feel pretty dumb not being able to find these things. :help:

Thanks!

~Sandy

An easy place to find it is on the NOA2 form, you should have the NOA2 form and will need that form for your interview, and to send a copy in with your paper work. If the number on your NOA2 is 8 digits at a 0 as the first digit.

The A# should be written on the I-94. If it isn't look on the petition approval notice. The I-94# is the 11 digit number near the top of the I-94. The A# is what's 9 digits, but when it's written on the I-94 they sometimes leave off the lead zero, i.e. A 12 345 678 should be A 012 345 678

You can also find the A# on your visa, stamped in your passport. It will say exactly A# xxxxxxxx, easy to locate.

Thanks for the replies! Unfortunately I seem to have lost my NOA2

That may be a bigger problem since I believe a copy of the petition approval needs to be submitted with the I-485.

Evidence of eligibility

Based on admission as the K-1 fiancé(e) of a U. S.citizen and subsequent marriage to that citizen.

Attach a copy of the fiancé(e) petition approval notice, a copy of your marriage certificate and yourForm 1-94.
