hi,

my name is akash. i married in nov.2011. my wife living in nevada USA and she has green card of USA. my wife apply my spouse visa i-130 pition for alien relative for USA last Feb 2012. my case status show in initial review and not any change in processing period its take to 2-3 years to get spouse visa.

can i apply visitor visa for usa for minimum 6 month

Q-1 what is requirement docs of getting visitor visa?

Q-2 if my visitor visa denied of any other reason then what will effect on my spouse visa that already running in process?

Q-3 how long take processing time to get visitor visa for usa?

please help me and suggest me

Q-1 You will need to apply for a B-2 visa and prove strong ties to India, though that may be hard as you have shown immigration intent with the pending I-130 and your spouse living in the US.

Q-2 A denied visitor visa should not impact your spousal visa process.

Q-3 You will apply for a tourist visa and have an interview. If you are approved I believe you will get a visa stamp that day.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
